Relevant Experience: Currently, I am the Women's Director at Faith City Church.
It is an interdenominational, multi cultural church. The vision of Faith City Church is to reach people with life changing messages out of the Bible and to encounter God through praise and worship.

I am also a speaker/Bible Teacher. I speak at Bible Studies, Women's Aglow, and MOPS meetings.  I also speak at retreats and luncheons.

I was on the national team of Celebrate Moms. This organization reaches out to moms across the nation through their website, a new book and conferences. The book was released in July, 2007 and is entitled Laundry Tales.

I led a Ladies Bible Study in October 2005- August 2007. The group met weekly wherein for two of the meetings, I gave the message; the other two meetings, a guest speaker gave the message.

I oversaw a team of thirteen women who performed various duties for the Bible Study to make it a success. The Bible Study has about ninety women on the roll and about forty to fifty attendees. I led the Bible Study for one year, and co-led it in 2004-05.

I have been a part of the Pastor’s Calling Committee, known as “The 50’s Pastors”. I was given a list of around 50 names to call monthly where I checked in to pray with them. If there were any pressing needs, I referred them to the right ministry. This calling team met monthly to report to the Pastor.

I was involved as a mentor to women in a MOPS ministry. I was also on the Steering Team as the Mentor representative. MOPS is an outreach program for the community.

I have participated in the planning of many retreats and conferences. We had a Women’s Retreat in May wherein I was on the planning team and the speaker of one of the seminars, “The God Who Sees Me”.

I was Director over the Treasure Hunt retreat held in 1999. This was fun, inspiring and an honor to lead. I had a vision for the retreat, shared it with women who caught the vision and joined the team to host a magnificent retreat.

From 2003-05, I led the Single Moms Ministry. I met with them for counseling and planned events for them such as a Christmas Brunch and a night of Praise and Worship.

I led a discipleship group of women from 1995-2000, where we did our own Bible Study as well as Beth Moore and Henry Blackaby.

I was Director of Alpha Pregnancy Center 1988-1989. This is a center which helps women in crisis pregnancies. I had volunteered there for several years before becoming the Director. I met with women for counseling and was on the Board of Directors from 1988-1991.

From 1986-88, I was the Senior High Girls Intern at Park Ave. Baptist Church, Titusville, Florida.

I worked under the Youth Pastor’s direction and led small groups and helped plan and implement our weekly youth services. We also planned events for our youth.

I have been in ministry for many years. I love women and working with them. It is my desire to see them set free from fears and to help them live their destiny as they walk with the Lord and know Him and His Word.

Other experience: 1979-1983 I worked in retail at Burdines Department Store. I was in management, managing several different departments which required scheduling, managing personnel, and being organized and an effective communicator.

My Mission Statement

With a Healed Heart: To fill them for the Ministry of God,
With a Hurting Heart: To heal them through the Word of God,
With a Hungry Heart; To seal them into the Family of God.

1 Peter 1:8. You love Him even though you have never seen Him. Though you do not see Him, you trust Him and even now you are happy with a glorious and inexpressible joy!
